Mission Statement

Sociedad Hispana Doylestown is a 501c(3) approved non-profit corporation founded in Bucks County, Pennsylvania in 2007. The organization is dedicated to facilitating cross cultural understanding among the hispanic and non-hispanic communities, thru language, literature, and the arts.

About Us

The corporation implements its mission statement thru cross cultural exchanges including high school scholarships, Spanish and English language learning, weekly and monthly tertulias (informal conversational meetings), Spanish language film club, and cultural trips to NYC, Philadelphia, and Internationally.

The image at the top of this page is a mural by the famous artist Jorge González Camarena. A gift from the Mexican government in the 1960s, the mural recounts the unity between Latin American peoples and cultures throughout the long history of the continent.
